For a hands-on experience, the museum offers farm tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, allowing visitors to explore a working farm and gain deeper insights into potato cultivation. It’s advisable to book these tours in advance, as they can fill up quickly. ​

The on-site Country Kitchen serves a variety of potato-based dishes, including baked potatoes, potato soup, and even potato fudge—a unique treat that’s worth trying. The restaurant operates daily from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm during the museum’s open season. Adjacent to the restaurant, the Potato Blossom Boutique offers a range of potato-themed souvenirs and local products, making it a great spot to pick up unique gifts. ​

Best Time to Visit

The museum’s season runs from May 12th to October 10th, with daily hours from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. Visiting during these months allows you to fully experience all the exhibits, dining, and activities the museum has to offer.
